BEAUTY: Art--The Brothers Hilts

These charming illustrations are by the talented duo The Brothers Hilts, Ben and Sean. Their work has appeared on book covers (check out their website to see a lovely cover they did for Hermann Hesse's SIDDARTHA), on CD covers, and of course in children's books such as HENRY about a curious young wolf who lives alone with his dad, and THE INSOMNIACS about a family who cannot sleep but who enjoy the night despite of it.

I love how their work is a little like Edward Gorey but with a post-modern edge and a dash of sweetness...
